"Fast & Fresh" Quick Paint

Join us for the last competition of Plein Air Richmond as our 30 juried artists AND any registered local artists have two hours to create a painting of a designated Richmond location. At exactly 11:30am the paintings are framed, judged, and put up for sale. Any unsold paintings by the 30 juried artists will be available at Brazier Gallery through Sunday.

This open studio is a part of Artists Open Studios Of Northeast Connecticut, with over 75 artisans participating. A beautiful brochure and map accompanies this artists tour so that you can easily find and visit the studios that interest you.
David and his work will be at Coventry Arts & Antiques, 1140 Main St. Coventry for the first weekend of the two weekend event. At this time, the owner of Coventry Arts & Antiques, Anne Burke is exclusively carrying David's work in Connecticut.

Please join us for our annual open studio at Salmon Falls Mills, Suite 467 Upper Mill, 1 Front Street in Rollinsford, New Hampshire. We are just one hour from Boston, Portland or Manchester and 2o minutes from Portsmouth.
This is part of The Artists of Salmon Falls Mills - Fall 2017 Open Studios. It's an exciting twice-annual open studios event. There are five floors of artists in two buildings. Live music, demonstrations, entertainment, food, raffles and more. The event is free and open to the public.
We will have lots of new work in our studio and a free drawing for a 6x8 framed oil painting. The drawing will take place at 5PM on Sunday. You don't need to be present for the drawing to win.

On Saturday, October 3, 2015, roughly forty professional artists will paint the town, parks, beaches, landmarks, buildings, landscapes, and scenic beauty of Rye and its surrounding areas in a one day plein-air paint-out.
A reception to view the wet works will take place on October 3, 4:30 – 6:00 p.m., with a live art auction starting at 6:15 in the Performing Arts Room at The Rye Arts Center.
Painters on Location is free and open to the public. The community is encouraged to visit artists “on location.” Maps of the locations where artists can choose to paint will be available at The Rye Arts Center.
Additional works by the artists will be on display in the Gallery Monday, September 21 – Saturday, October 3. Their works will be available for purchase through a silent auction.
Bidding paddles for the Live auction can be purchased for $20 at the event.
David has been selected to participate in this plein air event by this years event juror Kathleen Dunphy. David participated in this event last year for the first time and was awarded second place in the competition by juror Ann Blair Brown. The gala opening will be held on June 20th.
