This workshop is run through the North Shore Art Association at 11 Pirates Lane,Gloucester MA.

David Lussier will teach how to approach any subject by simplifying both color choices and the overall value structure of the composition. By taking time to thoughtfully plan a painting in this way, artists can give greater emphasis to the abstract qualities of a scene rather than becoming distracted by unnecessary detail. This approach allows the artist to say more with less and move more confidently and efficiently through the painting process. He will demonstrate this process and instruct students individually.
